Volunteers needed for Independence Uncorked 2022

We are so happy that this event is supporting Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity! We want to help the event have enough volunteers to be successful. Help us out! Saturday, September 10th

At Bingham-Waggoner Estate. The annual Independence Uncorked Wine Festival will be Saturday, September 10th from 1pm-6pm and opening at noon for sponsors and VIPs. We would love for you to help make this event a success again this year. Please sign up for a spot/spots that you would like to volunteer for. When you arrive, please check in at the information tent just to the east of the Carriage House. We look forward to another great Wine Festival!

Volunteers will be the main point of contact between the valuable wineries and festival committee. Volunteers will attend to wineries, fulfill needs such as: ice, food, waters, open bottles etc. Volunteers should be cheerful, enthusiastic and problem solvers. Volunteers are to help support the wineries and make their job easier while they are attending to the patrons.

**Must be 21 or older**

Opportunity Details

The Bloom Social - Sips and Bites fundraiser supports Bloom360 Learning Community, a nonprofit school for neurodivergent Learners. Local breweries, wine shops and restaurants donate products to be served as tastes to about 150 guests. There also will be a silent auction, basket raffle, cash raffle and a few games. The event is for adults 21+. The funds will support the school's project-based learning curriculum.

This can include things such as creating access to free food boxes, food pantries, healthy low cost cooking instructions and resident potlucks for our low-income residents.

We also plan to bring some of the young pups, so we can also use helpers to care for them.
