The North Olmsted early childhood PTA strives to achieve a sense of support and community for families of young children- primarily birth through preschool- who do not yet have a presence in the public school system. Through parent/child programming, social events, and educational opportunities we help to become each other's "village" for these ever-important first few years as parents.
This event hopes to be our biggest fundraiser of the year. Families will purchase tickets to dine and interact with some of their favorite characters- Moana, Maui, Belle, and Captain Hook. Activities will include a pancake breakfast, singing, dancing, and photo opportunities. Volunteers can donate their time to help serve food and assist at tables with diner requests and interactions. Proceeds will benefit the early childhood PTA and support further important programming and events for members and their families.

Opportunity Details

It's a Spaghetti Dinner to help benefit the Senior Nutrition Program in Redlands and Mentone. Join us Sat., November 3, 2018 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Volunteers will be available 1 hour before the event (which starts at 4PM) to help set-up, then serve and clean-up. The event includes opportunity drawings, entertainment by local favorite Dan Damon, and dinner. We will be hosting our annual "free" Christmas Event for our clients with ID/DD and their families. We will have a dinner, hand out Christmas gifts and share our organizations yearly activities report. Hosting this event gives families that care for their loved ones with ID/DD a chance to enjoy themselves, have a meal provided for them and watch their loved ones eyes shine as they receive their gifts. Our goal is to help provide a meal, gift and one afternoon of joy for our clients and families.

The Beaverton Holiday Bazaar will have over 150 vendors selling holiday and seasonal items. We expect about 2500 patrons to attend. Our group, the BHS Ski Team, will be hosting the espresso stand. Volunteers will help run the booth including set-up, order taking, payment processing, advertising, and clean-up.

This is a Halloween themed pet walk to raise funds for shelter animals at Upland Animal Shelter. The event date is Saturday, October 27, 2018. The event time is 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event location is McCarthy Park at 2000 N. San Antonio Ave. in Upland. We are asking for volunteers to come as early as 9:00 AM to help with set up. Once the event starts we need volunteers to help at the registration/courtesy booth, the raffle booth, the kids activity area, the food service area and during the pet walk. Once the event is over, we need help with tear down and clean up. We are asking everybody to register at: www.wizathon.com/monster-mash-pet-dash to start their fundraising efforts. Teams can also be created. For volunteers that want to also bring their pets to walk, they must register. The registration fee is $20, but if you can fundraise that amount, you don't need to pay. We also have the ability for people to register as a "virtual walker" if they are unable to attend but still want to help fundraise.

The Plainfield Band Boosters organization will host its 20th annual fall craft show on October 27 and 28, 2017 at Plainfield High School – Central Campus, 24120 West Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.

All proceeds from the craft show (admission, concessions, raffle and bake sale) will support the band programs at Plainfield High School-Central Campus, and Plainfield East, North and South high schools.

The show, featuring about 150 spaces of beautiful crafts and gifts will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 27; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2017.
