The Summerville Bears Quarterback Club is hosting the 4th Annual Westside Tribute Band Brew Fest on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at the open air Westside Pavilion in Tuolumne, California. All event proceeds will go to the Summerville Bears Quarterback Club for the benefit of the Summerville High School student athletes, primarily for those involved in the football program. The Festival will open its doors for VIP guests at 1:00 and everyone else at 2:00. The beer taps will be turned off at 5:30pm. This year’s entertainment will be provided by premier Reno/Las Vegas courty/rock band Left of Centre, celebrating the music of Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith, and Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers celebrating the music of ZZ Top. Also featured will be more than 40 different craft breweries who will be pouring more than 60 different beers. Various food vendors and Stogies Cigars will also be there, along with other booths and activities. Anticipated attendance will be approximately 1,500 people.

Calhoun Academy of the Arts will be hosting a Fall Festival to raise funds for the school, provide school and family connection, and encourage parental involvement. We will have games, food, and fun for the Calhoun community to enjoy. The funds will be used to provide students at Calhoun Academy of the Arts with a free school shirt for every student, field trips to the Brooks Center at Clemson University, field day, student awards, school copier maintenance, school dances, and teacher appreciation events. Our school is a Title I public elementary and is always in need of support, both financial and otherwise.

We are looking for volunteers to come help out at our biggest race weekend of the year. Families come from all over the state to race at our track for our Gold Cup Qualifier Race. This is also our biggest fundraising event of the year!
Tasks may include help with food prep, concessions, manning a table with items for sale, help with track specific duties like track official, staging and scoring etc.

This our largest fundraising opportunity to assist members of our local chapter who seek to improve their quality of life. Our organization provides financial support for our members to participation in our State and National Conventions where they receive knowledge and empowerment; we advocate on local, state, and national levels for the rights of people who are blind; and we provide local peer support. We also support other organizations in the Tallahassee area such as food to Second Harvest; the Christmas Connection helping families in need; and the Veterans Stand Down.

We are seeking volunteers to help with the Phelps County Fair. This event is for the family to come out and enjoy four fun filled days and learn about our community and agriculture. To help raise money for Guardian Angel Animal Rescue. These donations will go towards vet care for our rescued animals, food and supplies.
