Attracting more than 10,000 visitors to downtown Casper, Wyoming over a three-day weekend, NIC Fest is an exciting and vibrant community event. Artists booths, community booths, music, and activities for children and families, make NIC Fest one of the best summertime events in Casper—appealing to people from around the state and region. This year, the event will coincide with the opening weekend of CNFR, attracting visitors from around the country.

We could use your help creating art outside with kids, checking in on artists to give them breaks and deliver water, keeping the grounds clean, and helping in our galleries.

NIC Fest is Friday, June 8th 5:00pm-10:00pm; Saturday, June 9th 10:00am-10:00pm; and Sunday, June 10th 10:00am-4:00pm.

Thank you in advance for your support of The NIC and NIC Fest.

Come and join our group from Green Acres Church as we have our annual fun lake day with a local Boy's Home, Youth and Family Enrichment Center, on Saturday, June 23rd, 10:00am-3:00pm, at Green Acres Church Lake Property.
It's a fun filled day for the 35-40 boys ranging from ages 8-18, as they swim, fish, slide down water slides, eat snow cones and enjoy a delicious lunch with gifts, songs and a message of hope and encouragement.
These young men look forward with excitement to this event every year. Most of them are struggling with difficult situations being away from their homes and enjoy this day filled with fun and laughter forgetting their troubles for a day. Sorry no pictures of boys are permitted.
I hope you will consider joining us for the day or part of the day. I promise, you will be blessed you came. We will need help with food preparations, decorating, clean up or just hanging out fishing and swimming with the boys.

The Juneteenth Celebration is designed to heighten awareness of the process leading to the complete freedom of slaves and particularly the arrival of General Gordon Grainger and his Union Troops in Galveston Texas on June 19th 1865. It was not until then that news that the war was over and slaves were indeed free reached all segments of our country. Communities of color have celebrated this date with excitement and joyful fellowship and activities ever since. In fact most major metropolitan areas of our nation have civic celebrations of the event every year on or near June 19th.

Our celebration will be held Saturday, June 16th from 11am – 2pm @ West End Park. It will consist of a cookout including a fish fry, games, music, and a spirited atmosphere. This event is free to the public. Our annual laptop presentation will be awarded to the graduating minority senior with the greatest GPA.
