Our 2nd Annual ProjectQ Fundraiser Ball is taking place on May 20, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. We need volunteers to assist with serving dinner, setting up and cleaning up the event. The purpose of this event is to raise money to complete construction on the 'hairstream' trailer and to fund the 2018 ProjectQ Pride Tour. The black swamp bucks unlimited is a non profit organization that conducts an annual banquet to raise funds that support their goal goals of offering educational experiences for the local community about the preservation and conservation of the white tail population and their habitat. They do this through a scholarship programs and support of local youth organizations such as a youth trap shooting club (Hancock County Young Guns), in school archery programs, and the "No child left inside" program.Each year the Freedom Reins 4-H club helps serve at the banquet and any proceeds we receive is used by the club to support multiple causes within the 4-H program and county fair.
The volunteers will be assisting with serving the dinner, filling drink stations and clearing tables as patrons finish their meals.

Fox Valley Food for Health provides 500 - 600 organic, nutrient rich meals every week to people in the Fox Valley area who are going through a serious illness (usually cancer). We need to raise funds to continue to provide these meals for free for our clients. Our next fundraiser will be a brunch hosted by our teen and adult volunteers and we need your help. Tasks might include, stocking the buffet, clearing tables, tearing down the event, etc... Shifts are 3 hours long and would be sometime between 8 AM - 3 PM. The purpose of the Powderpuff game is as major fundraiser for the Junior and Senior Classes as well as a school spirit building event for the entire West Shore community. The Junior class is responsible for putting on our annual Prom which costs approximately $10,000. The Senior Class is responsible for paying approximately $3,000 towards graduation and supplementing seniors expenses for prom, senior breakfast and grad bash.Kohl’s volunteers provide assistance selling tickets and concessions as well as providing security around the perimeter of the field.

This annual event features 20+ Illinois Valley chocolatiers, confectioners, and restaurateurs, who donate their time and free chocolatey samples to the nearly 600 attendees who purchase admission tickets. Additionally, attendees are entertained by the sweet sounds of Steve Sharp, a LIVE auction with Matthew Bullock Auctioneering, and a Silent Auction of more than 100 items and baskets. The Chocolate Festival is LaSalle County CASA's primary fundraiser, providing 25% of our annual revenue. CASA strives to make the festival a family event as that is what our mission encompasses: ensuring stability for neglected and abused children in safe, loving families.Available Shifts
