This is a valentines day charity dinner that includes live jazz music, poetry readings, a silent auction and food! ALL proceeds goes to a local private school to helo fund a computer lab, a playground, and start up fees for a new location in E. St. Louis. Childcare is provided for those who cannot find a babysitter at no extra charge.

Opportunity Details

We are asking for your support for the West Bloomfield High School Theatre Department Fundraiser on February 8, 2018. This event will be a dinner Theatre featuring the ever relevant and poignant story of a Jewish family hiding to save themselves during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, "The Diary of Anne Frank". The centerpiece of our fundraising effort is the Silent Auction/Raffle and its accompanying dinner. The funds raised will enable West Bloomfield high School students to compete in the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association (MIFA) One-Act play festivals taking place statewise. As you may know, funding for the arts in public schools has been cut dramatically. The only way our students are able to enjoy this opportunity is through the generosity of members of the community like yourself.
All donors will be recognized in the program and publicity to the community. We thank you in advance for your generous time and hope the we can count on you as partner in this community event.

Opportunity Details

Dine in the Dark is Lodestar's biggest fundraiser. Participants eat a three course meal in the dark. Lodestar is in need of servers to help serve this meal. All proceeds support Lodestar's mission to place serivce dogs with blind and visually impaired children free of charge.

Opportunity Details

The Crab Feed & Silent Auction is the largest event of our year and funds raised support our outreach programs to homeless & food insecure as well as at risk youth in juvenile hall preparing them for a successful reentry to our community and a reentry program Tuesdays and Thursdays once they been released. Volunteer Opportunities: servers, drink station attendants, silent auction supervision, raffle ticket takers
