We are a family run non profit and rely on volunteers to staff Raptors Roost, a youth/family hangout/snack bar/arcade in Eden Valley MN. We have Nintendo Switches, PS4s, VR as well as cabinet arcade games, air hockey and foosball. Volunteers would need to be over age 18, have orientation on how the facility is run, work independently and supervise youth volunteers. The adults prepare food as ordered, run the cash register and troubleshoot issues as they arise. We are open evenings between 3pm and 10pm (varies depending on the day). Not physically demanding.

The Missions Benefit Auction raises support for the church youth's summer missions trip to Nassau, Bahamas, which unfortunately had to be canceled due to Covid-19 this year. We were to work with children and youth and do church construction since they desperately needed a roof on the new church before hurricane season. Since the trip was canceled, we are having the auction to raise funds to send them for a roof and other church construction as well as a monthly food distribution program for those who are homeless due to the lack of tourism in the Bahamas due to Covid-19.Available Shifts

The Pop-Up Food Hub welcomes volunteers who are eager to give their support to make sustainable food more readily available in our community. Our volunteers help pack fresh, local produce that will eventually make its way to individuals and organizations across the city. Our volunteer opportunities have weekday and weekend availability and require some heavy lifting, comfort working outdoors on your feet, and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. If you have foreign language skills, such as Spanish, Amharic, and/or Cantonese, please let us know! We ask that our volunteers commit to serving at least twice a month during the market season. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate one-time volunteers.
