Angeline's prepares and serves three hot meals daily. We are seeking volunteers to help with meal service and clean up for the breakfast and lunch services. Volunteers must be comfortable interacting with homeless women and aware of common behaviors in a shelter environment. Volunteers must also dress for a kitchen environment; non-slip shoes required. After you/your group signs up for a shift we will contact you to schedule a specific volunteer date

Angeline's Day Center provides safety and support to women experiencing homelessness. More than 200 women each day access Angeline's drop-in services, which includes meals, laundry, showers, lockers, and connections to community resources. Angeline’s also operates an enhanced overnight shelter. #Give2024

Thank you for volunteering at the 2024 Garten Gala on Friday, October 25th at Zenith Vineyard (5657 Zena Rd NW, Salem, OR 97304). This event is Garten's annual fundraiser to support our Youth Employment Services, which provides training, development and employment opportunities to young adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. Volunteer servers will help serve dinner and clear plates for guests at the Gala from 4pm - 8pm. Volunteers are asked to wear a black button up shirt, black pants and black sneakers/comfortable closed-toe shoes. On-site training will be provided.

Random Lake Fall Festival is a fun festival in Random Lake, WI. The main streets are closed to vehicles and become the festival grounds! This festival is sponsored by the Random Lake Chamber of Commerce and occurs each September for many years. Food, live music, vendors, crafts, farmers market, kids and adult games and much more fill the day. Local businesses participate...which is why the Random Lake Historical Society is involved! Our building is currently just over 6000 square feet located in downtown. This festival brings lots of new people to our village and provides income for many businesses AND our non profit organization. We have a cafe, museum and historic site in Random Lake....all run by volunteers. This festival provides opportunity for our group to get more volunteers and introduces our historical society to many local and non local guests who attend the Fall Festival. This important event provides an opportunity to showcase our local non profit historical society in the BEST light! Full of life, fun, food historical artifacts, stories, special displays and entertainment. Hoping to peak the curiosities of guest to return again and spend some time enjoying what we offer at the Random Lake Area Historical Society. In addition, every sale supports the Random Lake Area Historical Society. 100% of the profits go towards our mission. "Preserving the Past For The Future".
