Join us for “A Night with No Bad Juju” , a concert fundraiser, on April 18th, 2020,hosted by the GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
GFWC is an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement
by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Our club volunteers for a
variety of community organizations in Butler County. This event will support
community projects in Butler County.
Last year, we donated funds to the Butler County Humane Society to purchase
microchipping equipment for lost and homeless animals. We donated to the
Community Health Clinic of Butler so they could grow fresh vegetable gardens, and
we donated to the South Butler K-5 Weekend Food Program, which provides food for
children who are going hungry on the weekend. In addition, every year, we award a
Butler County high school student with the GFWC Junior Women’s Club Academic
Scholarship.
We are proud to announce that this year’s event will be held at The Woods in Prospect and will feature the band, “No Bad Juju”,
a Pittsburgh based band that plays a diverse blend of classic R&B, soul, rock,
pop and top 40 music. Our concert fundraiser will also include a silent auction,
raffle baskets, food, wine and beer. We anticipate approximately 200 attendees!
This event would not be possible without the support of friends and local businesses
like you. Please help us make this year a huge success!

This is our second annual Founders Day Dinner and our biggest fundraiser of the year. Our school is only a year and half old and it imperative that we secure financial and volunteer partnerships with others for our school to continue and grow. We are so excited because we are a school that is meeting kids where their needs are. This includes children of various special needs. We as a whole are very passionate about helping children grow into whole human beings that believe in themselves and know they can succeed in their lives. We can not do this without help from partnerships or individuals with a heart for education and helping kids. We are in a building without classrooms for our upper school students and as we grow we are running out of room. We also need supplies for our students like computers, P.E. equipment and our list goes from there. So this fundraiser means a lot to us. Our event will have Dr. Ming Wang as our speaker and entertainment, dinner, and guest entertainer Josh Turner. We are grateful for all and any help. We need help for about 3 hours in the morning and during the event that night.Available Shifts
