Our PTO is hosting a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics Night. We invite families to come and explore activities involving all areas of STEAM. We are in need of volunteers to help families complete activities in the various classrooms.

Volunteers needed to work the concession during baseball games played at home. It is important to have helpers to assist parents with serving food items from the concession before, during, and between games. Also, helpers are needed to help with clean up of the concession and fan stands after the game.

Opportunity Details

The 5ish Fun Run is a one-day annual event, taking place on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019. This event is aimed at raising much-needed funds for WBYO, a charitable organization that provides year-round, free after-school and summer programming for local children in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. We ensure that these children have opportunities to learn and grow in an atmosphere where their basic emotional, social and educational needs are met and supported by positive role models. WBYO programs include homework, reading and math clubs, sports, music lessons, and a variety of recreational activities and outings.

The 5ish Fun Run event is a lot of fun, involving families and community members from around the city. It consists of a 5(ish) km run/walk/rollerblade that starts and ends at Mulvey School field (750 Wolseley Ave), followed by live music, a community picnic, and other inclusive activities.

Our goal is to have 500 runners and walkers join us to help raise $30,000 for WBYO.

Opportunity Details

Genesee Cancer Assistance is hosting a spaghetti dinner to help raise funds for cancer patients in Genesee County. The event will be Thurs., April 11, 4pm-7pm at Ascension Parish in Batavia. Volunteers are needed to serve dinners, dessert/beverages, clear and set tables and general clean-up. GCA depends on successful fundraisers like this one to help the patients we serve. Your help as a volunteer is appreciated!

Empty Bowls is an event that raises money to help fund Home Meals Delivery. 100% of the proceeds go to feed the hungry of Madison County. For a minimum $12 donations, you receive a one-of-a-kind handmade bowl donated by local potters with vegetable soup and cornbread. It is allows for a time of fellowship and is attended by a very diverse population of the community. It is an excellent opportunity for Kohl's to show their support of the community.

Opportunity Details

Help support the Tates Creek Softball Boosters by working concesisons or gate fee collection at the 11th Region tournament which is being hosted by Tates Creek this year. The location of the tournament is to be determined but will likely be either at the Tates Creek High School softball complex or at the Eastern Kentucky University Softball complex.
