The Campaign Against Cancer is a table top game tournament. Each gaming spaces uses a 60" round table per 2 players. We typically have 80 players, therefore needing approximately 40 tables set up (with chairs and play mats), along with tables for registration, prize support, food, etc. We also have a concession area that would need set up, along with prize support displays and other items. As we are a very small non profit organization (typically with just 2 people taking off work to get it completed), we would appreciate help setting up this event. The event is based on a Star Wars game....so on Saturday we have Star Wars Cos Players out to take pictures with etc. It is a fun time if you are a Star Wars Fan!

Spring is coming, and with warmer weather comes an increase in requests for assistance, especially feral cats and kittens and emergency situations such as parvo puppies. While we hold a couple larger fundraisers, these smaller events really help our organization reach more individuals who need our help.
This event requires our members and volunteers to help clear tables and refill drinks for customers of our local Pizza Ranch. At the end of the evening, we receive all the tips and 10% of all sales. Any extra hands that could be present to help us keep up would be greatly appreciated! This fundraiser helps replenish funds used earlier in the spring for feral cats and emergency cases.
