This is our favorite event of the year and is important to our PTA to incorporate fun and a sense of community within our district! Families get dressed up in their PJ's for a fun night of Bingo! We serve dinner and milk & Cookies and families mingle with others within our school community. Funds raised for this event support or District programs within the Waugh School District.

Opportunity Details

CCHF's Surf and Turf Crab Feed is one of two major fundraisers to support our work of improving the quality of life and care for persons impacted by inherited bleeding disorders. This annual event for over 500 people is a popular one on the crab feed circuit and includes an all-you-can-eat meal, silent auction and live auction of some delicious desserts. Among other programs - the funds raised help support Camp Hemotion - a camp where children and youth with bleeding disorders can safely engage in typical summer camp experience and also interact with peers who face similar challenges. For many of these children it is their only opportunity to develop some independence from mom and dad.
