Building on the success from previous years, this event allows professional and amateur chefs the opportunity to showcase their culinary talent. The 4-H food booth at the County Fair is looking for help this year. The money raised at the food booth goes towards summer camp, Cloverbud (K-2nd grade) Day Camp, older member trips (to Madison, Washington DC, Space Camp, and Atlanta) and many other things that the 4-H members participate in!The food booth is open
Thursday, July 26th: 12-close (~9 pm),
Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 29th: 8 am-close (~11 pm)
Sunday, July 30th: 9-5 pm
You will get a voucher for a meal from the food booth if you volunteer your time as well!

We are hosting Run for Hue-manity Color Fun Run & Family Fun Festival on September 8, 2018 to encourage community engagement and foster public awareness of our programs. The family-friendly event will feature a 1-mile color run, Fun Festival with a free Kids’ Zone with color-themed games, prizes, food and local entertainment. Children ages 12 and under will be free with paid adult admission. Other community agencies and nonprofits will be invited to participate with informational or game booths. We will also have family-oriented raffle and silent auction prizes.SSG currently has two programs—permanent supportive housing and rapid rehousing—which have provided housing and financial assistance to over 100 households in Merced County since 2017. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit our housing programs and participants.

The Birchtree Fall Fair will feature crafts, food, raffles and other items for sale. Volunteers will help guests find the event entrance and assist at the raffle and concessions tables.Event proceeds benefit the nonprofit Birchtree Center, which transforms the lives of children and youth with autism and their families in southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts.
