On Saturday, March 7, the Pacific Union School PTO is hosting a “Cioppino and Vino” Dinner to financially support programs that enhance the students’ educational experience outside the normal operations of Pacific Union School District, including playground improvement (including our ongoing track building project), the school garden, the arts, and technology. Our fundraising efforts also include raising funds with the junior high parents to send 8th grade students on an end-of-the-year class trip. Every year, students look forward to three days of enriching educational experiences with their classmates that are not available in our rural community, such as the Academy of Sciences, the Exploratorium, Alcatraz, and a professional theater production. This trip is a culmination of the students’ nine years at Pacific Union that they will remember for a lifetime.
