On Saturday, June 16th, riders of all skill levels will travel throughout scenic Fairfield and Westchester counties in support of the only charity bike ride benefiting Connecticut Veterans. Beginning and ending in Stamford, The RIDE For Our Vets offers four route options to appeal to cyclists and walkers of all ages and experience levels. This fully-supported ride benefits the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center and the amazing work they do to help veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness to overcome legal barriers to housing, healthcare, and income.

We are looking for volunteers to help on the route and at the event site!
Throughout the event, as a member of a volunteer team, you'll keep the riders and 5K walkers happy. You may be assigned to an "oasis" (rest stop) team, or you may drive a sweep vehicle, or perhaps you'll help serve breakfast and lunch - there are opportunities for almost every interest! We also have specialty teams for medical positions, bike techs, and people who own a motorcycle. Regardless of your interests and abilities, there's a volunteer team for you.
For more information on volunteering, please contact me at ttimken@globalimpactpro.com.

Register to volunteer for The RIDE For Our Vets today and help change a CT Veteran’s life!

This year, the purpose of this student activity - in addition to health and fitness - is to represent their hero. Students can wear super hero shirts which represents someone whom they admire, gives them strength, and provides positivity in all that they do.

All funds raised will go toward study field trips, enrichment programs, student achievement awards, music supplies, and band instruments. This year, we have additional stretch goals to bring art into classrooms and beautify our campus with school murals from a local Hayward artist.
