The school boosters is inviting all local Little League players to attend the April 11 softball and baseball game, in addition to lacrosse. This event will help expand the visibility of the softball program within the community

Sherbourne Health provides essential primary care and chronic disease management, mental health services, health education, and outreach and social supports to improve health for communities who face social, economic and other systemic barriers, whose complex needs are not met by traditional health care. Every year, we organize a variety of fundraising events to raise support for our programming. As a Fundraising Events Support volunteer, roles may include event set-up and tear down, guest check-in, processing donations, supporting event catering, and general events duties. We hope you would like to be added to our list for upcoming opportunities! Fundraising Events Support opportunities will be shared with you throughout the year.

Opportunity Details

Family is the cornerstone of Mexican culture, but there is no doubt that mom is at the center. Without a doubt one of the most important celebrations is May 10th, Mother’s Day in Mexico.

This year, Esperança is supporting mothers from Title I school districts who would not have the means to be pampered the way moms traditionally would. Food, flowers, and games are provided to attendees free of charge.

Esperança will need volunteers the afternoon before the event for set up, and the day of for registration, food service, and clean up. The event is taking place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. Volunteers should be at the venue one hour prior and one hour later for set up and clean up. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers are a plus!

Lunch will be provided to all volunteers!
