The Shoals Alabama Kidney Walk and Celebration is the Alabama Kidney Foundation's premier fundraising event dedicated to raising funds to help local kidney patients through the Foundation's Financial Assistance Program. Please join us for a morning filled with food, music, door prizes, children's activities and much more! The event will take place on Saturday, May 6th at the River Heritage Park in Florence. Registration begins at 8:30 AM with the Walk and Celebration starting at 9:30 AM. Raise community awareness about re-traumatization of impacted persons. Recognize persons for their labor.This opportunity would be to help prepare and set up materials such as silent auction items and forms, collate program training materials, prepare tables with linen, prepare items that will be used for event table setup, inventory materials, help collate books and or programs. Parents as Teachers is offering families an opportunity to explore a kid-friendly venue and participate in hands-on activities with their children in celebration of Easter. We will meet at the Rustic Backyard located at 304 Old Hwy 49 West, Hattiesburg, MS 39401. Kids will get to experience a small petting zoo, slides, large jump pad, play areas, and have a photo with the Easter Bunny. It is a great parental involvement opportunity. There will be an egg hunt with books at prizes.
