Dream Night Prom is for teens with cancer or other life threatening diagnosis. This prom affords a magical and very healing experience for the many teens who participate. The challenge for a child diagnosed with cancer is multifaceted, and for a teenager, the experience is far more personal. The treatments frequently induce hair loss, weight loss and other physical challenges. Months of hospitalizations can disrupt the usual social activities, and important milestones are often missed. This program is offered at no cost to our teens and their siblings. We seek volunteer help to host this event, theme preparation (Crystal Ball), serving food, beverages, chocolate fountain etc.

East Port Orchard Elementary PTA will be hosting a catered Italian Dinner, Dessert Frenzy & a Silent/Live Auction to raise money for additional playground structures for East Port Orchard Elementary.

The 2019 - 2020 school year has EPO PTA's primary goal to help purchase additional large playground equipment. As one of the largest elementary schools in South Kitsap with the highest percentage (54%) of the student body receiving free/reduced lunch, fundraising within our student/family population can be challenging. For this reason, we are reaching out to our community for support. Our students work hard every single day. Being able to play is also a vital part of their learning experience.

With your help, we are hoping to help support the purchase of a Gaga Ball Pit, build an outdoor basketball court and include an American Ninja Warrior inspired obstacle course to our existing playground layout.

Join us for our 1st Annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast! The proceeds go to Extract Effect, a local tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to ending child trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals and/or groups who have a passion for giving back, would like to support a worthy cause and would enjoy unlimited pancakes! (It's okay if you're a waffle person... we won't take it personally)

We are needing volunteers to help:
- set up/take down tables, chairs and decorations
- greet, welcome guests with warm smiles
- cook pancakes & sausage on a griddle
- sit at the resource table, collect money for items sold, provide information on items and programs available
- be a photographer/videographer to help document this memorable event
- share and create social media posts to bring awareness to the cause and event

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 937-732-9495, or visit our website/fb page for more information (see below).

Our goal is to support Healthy Hearts Awareness for the month of February by hosting a Dance-A-Thon event at R.L. Norton Elementary to get families and the community to be proactive in physical body movement. We need volunteers to help decorate, serve healthy sandwiches and snacks, and be one of the judges to assess the participants in a body movement challenge to earn prizes. It is important to have the community involved in this event to be aware of a positive and safe environment where children and youth can be educated on the importance of having some physical exercises to increase positive behavior in school.
