Join us at this fun alternative Halloween celebration! At this annual event, participants go on a pumpkin-lit night hike and meet costumed night critters like Spider, Owl, and Bat! They also enjoy crafts, games, food, and a raffle in the park shelter. Volunteers can help with set-up before the event (decorating the shelter, putting out pumpkins, etc.) or activities at the event (food service, crafts, games, or raffle ticket sales).

That is the day of the Pumpkin Blowout, and we will have goats there along with a Halloween backdrop for selfies that you can visit before or after your shifts!

The goal of the Young Artists Debut Orchestra (YADO) Concert is to show-case the hard work, dedication and talent of Erie’s young musicians in a public performance venue. The YADO has four levels of performance groups, thereby allowing the audience to hear the progression of expertise, attained by the students, at each graduated level of performance.
The purpose of a classical music concert benefits in building the self-esteem of our student musicians, as they become aware of their unique accomplishment of performing before a live audience. Equally beneficial is giving our students the opportunity to express themselves artistically through the Universal Language of music!

Wisconsin Adopt A Golden Retriever Presents The 1st Annual WAAGtoberfest on Sunday, September 29! Help us raise a glass and funds that help save more Goldens! Enjoy beer tastings and complimentary brats, hot dogs, and salty snacks. WAAGR dogs will greet you before you enter the event (kisses guaranteed!).

WAAGR rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes from puppy mills, hoarding and surrender situations. Many of the dogs rescued by WAAGR require extra veterinary care such as surgery, ongoing medication, or physical therapy. We routinely see cases of heartworm, allergies, hip problems, broken bones, seizures, cancer and broken spirits. The funds raised from events such as WAAGtoberfest allow us to rehabilitate rescued dogs and prepare them to be placed with a perfectly matched, loving, forever home.

We would like to have Kohl's employees help with the lobby area during the showtimes, specifically the concession stand to free up parents to help in other needed areas.
