This is our largest fundraiser to raise funds to help ensure we are providing safe equipment and great experience for both boys and girls ages 6-14yo in our community. A Kohl's volunteer grant will help us twofold, with much needed funds as well as the volunteers to ensure this evening is a success! And this year's theme of "Titans Toga Party" is sure to be a blast.

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” runs at the Royal Theatre, 111 S. Market Street in historic downtown Benton Arkansas, April 4-14.

Volunteer opportunities are available in various front of house positions, including concessions stand, greeter, house manager, and box office. Anyone who volunteers during this show is invited to attend the performance when they volunteer.

Volunteers are usually asked to arrive at 5:45 for evening shows and 12:45 for matinee performances. Some shifts vary. Performances are Thursday thru Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Often called Broadway's greatest farce, this musical by Stephen Sondheim is a joyous, musical romp through Rome filled with desperate lovers, scheming neighbors, and secrets behind every toga. This production is directed by Bob Bidewell and sponsored by W.W. and Anne Jones Charitable Trust. Assistant director is Savanah Price; choreographer is Travis Clark.
Audiences may be familiar with the song, “Comedy Tonight” and “Everybody Ought to Have a Maid.” The book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondhein—his first big hit! According to the director, “There is not one serious line in the whole musical. It’s just fun.” An experienced cast of actors bring the roles alive.

Curtain goes up at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday evenings and 2 p.m. for the Sunday matinees.
