Our organization hosts an all day baseball tournament in Ocala for 8U through 13U baseball teams. This is a large event that is a huge fundraiser for our organization. This takes a lot of man power to operate and run smoothly. We need volunteers that would be willing to work in our concession stand.

Run for Life is one of Pathways Clinic's two main fundraising events for the year. These events provide the majority of our operating budget. Without these events and the amazing volunteers that help us put them on, we would not be able to provide the free pregnancy and family resources we offer to the community.

Join The Bellevue Arts Museum for our biggest event of the year, the 2024 BAM ARTSfair! We are seeking volunteers from July 25th - 28th 2024. Get involved with one of the largest, most prestigious art festivals in the Pacific Northwest, where you can see performance art, live music, artist demonstrations, unique handmade crafts, and assist children in making their own art! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a love of art who want to get involved in their community. Volunteers will assist in a variety of capacities, and once you are registered, you can pick the opportunities that best fit your interests and availability.

On each board, they list out every single item the model will wear for the look, specific styling instructions, and any additional notes. These mini boards are placed strategically on racks with their corresponding looks backstage for dressers to reference when dressing their model.

Golden Healer Service Dogs has partnered with Savannah Bananas and we are raising funds to support our organization in placing service dogs with people in need. We are looking for volunteers that will help run a concession stand at the games. Come enjoy the game, meet new people and get a FREE MEAL for helping. All proceeds earned go directly to Golden Healer Service Dogs so they can place service dogs with people that have mental health and physical disabilities.

We have received 500+ volunteers from across the world offering their talents and skills to enrich Sristi Village and volunteers are very important to Sristi since our inception. We are always looking for people who are willing to invest their time and energy in developing projects like this. If you have the desire to do social service and are looking for a mission to enrich you, we have our arms wide open.

Rather than find faults in cracks, tears and other imperfections, the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi encourages us to appreciate that nothing is truly perfect or permanent. Society often looks at people with disabilities always as broken or imperfect. This creates many challenges and disadvantages for them to be valued members of mainstream society. At WABI-SABI CAFE, we bring together individuals typically labeled as imperfect to not only enrich their lives but also inspires whoever visits to find beauty in life's imperfections.

The first SRISTI WABI SABI CAFÉ will be a Farm-to-Table Café Shop that brings the organic products harvested with love and care from our rural Sristi Farms to Pondicherry in a delicious menu of Indian and continental dishes; millet ice cream; and signature herbal beverages. Then, we hope to expand this model all around the country, allowing anyone to scale and adopt the template we create.

The volunteer can assist with (1) training disabled students (2) marketing and customer relations (3) business/accounting skills (4) chef/cooking and hospitality (5) strategic expansion: improving our visibility and India-wide partnerships. Depending on your skills, interests, and time, we will find the perfect match for you! Most important is a willingness to learn, care for our students, and follow our community guidelines.

We are having a Paint Your Pet party to raise funds to provide low- or no-cost spay/neuter and vaccinations to dogs and cats when their people cannot afford these veterinary services otherwise. This will keep pets in their homes and from overcrowded shelters where they may be at risk of euthanasia

Spaulding for Children will hold an in-person Parent Engagement Group (PEG) Meeting for the foster parents in the evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on: Monday, June 10, 2024

We are looking for four (4) volunteers to watch the children/youth in a separate area during the PEG meetings. 

Volunteers will:

Serve the children/youth dinner
Do activities/crafts, and/or
Play games

Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early.

I would like to just take a moment to introduce our group, Vets for Christ of Michigan, to you. We are a Christian group, of all denominations, ministering to Veterans of all branches, wars and service levels. We look to each other and Gods Word for comfort, support and advice.

Vets for Christ of Michigan has been established, as a 501C3 non-profit organization, for the purpose of providing aid to American military veterans and their immediate families while promoting Christian values. Our actions and deeds are based on Biblical principles of sin and judgement. We love and care for individuals without condoning, accepting or promoting sinful behavior.

Below is a list of just some of the programs and activities which we are involved in:
• Downriver for Veterans
• Healing Hearts Therapeutic Farm
• Emmanuel House in Detroit
• Veterans Haven in Wayne
• Great Lakes National Cemetery
• Piquette Square in Detroit

The direct impact that this fundraiser will have on the community will be helping our organization raise funds for assisting our local veterans in need. This past year we have achieved and assisted numerous veterans with supplying food, clothing, household items, appliances, housing and also a vehicle for one veteran in need. To date approximately 90% of all funds raised go to helping and assisting veterans in need, with 10% going to office supplies, postage and miscellaneous supplies.

The youth summer programs allow kids to step out of their comfort zones, meet new people, and foster friendships that often last a lifetime. By interacting with a diverse group of peers, kids learn essential skills like communication and cooperation. We believe all children will get the opportunity to try new things, make new friends, and learn about themselves. All of these are crucial to developing self-esteem and confidence. Allowing our youth the opportunity to fellowship and build positive, healthy relationships with others is also a good thing to do. With many hands and loving hearts involved, we can help make a difference.
