Passionate about getting involved in your community? Help us put an end to Alzheimer's!We need you! The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter is looking for volunteers to help us with our Hartford Walk to End Alzheimer's event.
This is the perfect volunteer opportunity to stretch your leadership skills and help us in the fight against Alzheimer's. The walk is located at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, in Hartford CT! The Walk will take place on Sunday, October 16 this year.
Every year, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's takes place in over 600 communities nationwide — an effort that could not be done without the help of dedicated Walk day volunteers. These individuals help with event set up, registration, check in, booths, traffic control, table set up/take down, advocacy efforts, cheerleading and more!

The goal of the Hamilton High School Band Boosters is to continue to make the needed improvements that a STRONG music program requires. Our next focus is to repair and replace outdated items, as well as to purchase new instruments to complete our school inventory.This fundraising opportunity requires that we have 8 volunteers for each Brewers game to work specific concession stand(s). Hi Everyone!
The Center for Child & Family Services has been asked to run the beverage stands at the Patriotic Festival Concerts down in Norfolk, VA on May 27th, 28th and 29th.
We are looking for around 150 volunteers for this event (the whole weekend.)
The Center for Child & Family Services will be receiving funds for our children & family programs through volunteering.
What you will be doing:
Volunteers will be helping with concessions throughout the concert.
Beverages: beer, water & soda's. Volunteers must be 18 and up.

We are looking for volunteers to help us achieve of our mandate of feeding the hungry in Fredericton and surrounding areas. Volunteers help with food prep (chopping vegetables, making juice/coffee, light dishwashing etc) and serving the meal to guests during meal service.

Chili for Children, our annual chili cookoff, is the main fundraiser for our nonprofit. Money raised is used to train volunteers, provide services for children in foster care due to abuse or neglect. We presently have more than 50 cases needing advocates with less than 30 active volunteers.At our fundraiser, we need help serving and working the silent auction tables.
