Join us June 22nd and 23rd as we Ride, Run, Walk and Volunteer for a Cure! Volunteers are so special to the American Diabetes Association and every hour you give makes a major impact. Tour de Cure expanded to include a ride, run and a walk so even more volunteers are needed.

Volunteers are really the backbone of the event and help to make the day exceptional. We would love for you to become part of this dynamic, passionate and fun group of people that volunteer together at this event.

Opportunity Details

We are hosting Run for Hue-manity Color Fun Run & Family Fun Festival on September 8, 2018 to encourage community engagement and foster public awareness of our programs. The family-friendly event will feature a 1-mile color run, Fun Festival with a free Kids’ Zone with color-themed games, prizes, food and local entertainment. Children ages 12 and under will be free with paid adult admission. Other community agencies and nonprofits will be invited to participate with informational or game booths. We will also have family-oriented raffle and silent auction prizes.
SSG currently has two programs—permanent supportive housing and rapid rehousing—which have provided housing and financial assistance to over 100 households in Merced County since 2017. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit our housing programs and participants.

Opportunity Details

The Birchtree Fall Fair will feature crafts, food, raffles and other items for sale. Volunteers will help guests find the event entrance and assist at the raffle and concessions tables.

Event proceeds benefit the nonprofit Birchtree Center, which transforms the lives of children and youth with autism and their families in southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts.

Tri-State Canine Response team is holding a major fundraiser at Double Nickel Brewery (1585 NJ-73, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110) on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 6-9 pm. The Summerville Bears Quarterback Club is hosting the 4th Annual Westside Tribute Band Brew Fest on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at the open air Westside Pavilion in Tuolumne, California. All event proceeds will go to the Summerville Bears Quarterback Club for the benefit of the Summerville High School student athletes, primarily for those involved in the football program. The Festival will open its doors for VIP guests at 1:00 and everyone else at 2:00. The beer taps will be turned off at 5:30pm. This year’s entertainment will be provided by premier Reno/Las Vegas courty/rock band Left of Centre, celebrating the music of Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith, and Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers celebrating the music of ZZ Top. Also featured will be more than 40 different craft breweries who will be pouring more than 60 different beers. Various food vendors and Stogies Cigars will also be there, along with other booths and activities. Anticipated attendance will be approximately 1,500 people.
