Our annual Big Band Night is held every year in May and we invite all community members and schools families to this amazing event.At this event the Jazz Students showcase their talents as well as playing with Professional Jazz Players.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our program.

Opportunity Details
Competitors and their families and US Figure Skating officials from across the state and nation will be gathering July 12-15, 2018 at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Farmer's Branch for the Cannon Texas Open skating competition. This competition attracts skaters from around the country and is sanctioned by US Figure Skating.Volunteers are also needed for various aspects of running the competition, including setup and takedown, hospitality room workers, photocopying and posting results, playing music, announcing, and other various tasks.
Lone Star Figure Skating Club is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation, whose purpose is to encourage harmony and cooperation in the promotion of and participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons regardless of race, religion, color, age, gender, or national origin.

Christian Children's Home of Ohio (CCHO) will be hosting our 7th Annual Great Grill Off. The event will also be the conclusion to our 50th Anniversary weekend. This by donation event financially supports CCHO our family of ministries by providing a way for individuals and families to learn more about our organization. The event consists of a burger contest, picnic style side dishes and kids activities. Volunteers are utilized in several areas: Parking, Food Service, Kitchen Prep, Kids Activities.Available Shifts

Hilltop Mental Health Association has their annual dinner and art show at St. Andrew's for approximately 150 youth and adults in their program. Hilltop is a behavioral health program for youth and adults with mental health and substance abuse issues. Volunteers will share in the light supper.Available Shifts

Division of Child Protection and Permanency: St. Andrew's annually sponsors a prom for teenagers in the DCPP Program - which is a agency to assist children on welfare and subsistence.There will be approximately 150 teenagers in their best formal attire to enjoy an evening of fun and music. I need help with setting up tables, putting out decorations, serving food and helping in so many ways. This is a very joyful event for these young people, and everyone loves it!! I hope Kohl's can be there to help. Light dinner available to Kohl's volunteers.

Each night, the St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program’s two sites serve approximately 300 children and adults, but they need YOUR help!Our South site (Cross Roads Kitchen) is in need of volunteers every Friday and Sunday from 3-7pm. Volunteer once or on a consistent basis - we appreciate you!
Volunteer opportunities include:
Shower attendant, food preparation, dish washing, food and beverage service, cleaning, laundry, guest relations, donation sorting, organizing, office assistance and special projects.
We are happy to provide a letter of completion for volunteer hours for school, court, W-2, FSET, GATES, Etc.
