Opportunity Details

As a small organization serving a big community, we depend on generous donations from companies such as yours, to help raise money to invest in the children in our district. We use the funds to support enrichment activities in the school, such as field trips, assemblies, Art in the Classroom, STEAM nights and after school programs. We use all donations in a raffle and/or silent auctions at our fundraisers. Our next event is our Family Fun Night on March 15, 2024.

Golden Healer Service Dogs has partnered with Savannah Bananas Baseball and we are raising funds to support our organization in placing service dogs with people in need. We are looking for volunteers that will help run a concession stand at the games. Come enjoy the game, meet new people and get a FREE MEAL for helping. All proceeds earned go directly to Golden Healer Service Dogs so they can place service dogs with people that have mental health and physical disabilities.

Opportunity Details

The Hike for Hospice is our annual fundraiser. This event is a hybrid model. On Friday, October 10th a hike and bbq will happen in North Bay. The event will start on the hospice property at 799 John St. and continue through the neighboring streets. We need volunteers to walk with participants along the route, cook & serve at the bbq, sell concessions and swag. The event is over lunchtime. This is a great team building opportunity and a way to give back to the hospice. Since opening in Jan 2020, we have served over 500 residents, their families and caregivers. We must raise close to $800,000 per year to make up for the shortfall in funding. The money goes towards items like food, cleaning supplies, utilities, grief & bereavement supports, and our programs.
