Our Season has begun and we are having a great year! We have traveled to play some of the top teams in the country in AZ, Los Angeles, Burbank, Long Beach and now it’s time to come home to Centennial HS in Corona. We need volunteers to help with our Snack Bar for our home games. This will allow our supportive parents an opportunity to watch instead of work the games to support our athletes. Nothing makes an athlete happier than to see the faces of their parents in the stands watching them play! Also, every year, one time per year, Centennial High School Girls Basketball hosts a fall league basketball tournament at Centennial High School every Saturday over a period of 6 weeks (Sep 28, Oct 12, Oct 19, Oct 26, Nov 2, and Nov 9). Our Fall League is the largest Fall League in the Southern Section and because of its reputation and Head Coach, Martin Woods, contacts, several college coaches and recruiters come to these games, allowing our athletes to get the exposure they need. Many athletes from Centennial, as well as, other participating school's athletes have garnered scholarships to colleges from our fall league tournament.

We are having a open house event with lots of information, education, fun, food, entertainment. The goal and purpose of this event is to find life long homes for our animals and allow the public and community see what goes on here behind the scenes and how much love, vet care and dedication is put into our facility and animals here at the humane society. Its also going to allow us to educate and inform people of things pets need like preventive care. For example a lot of people are not aware of heartworm prevention and that is extremely important because they are prevalent here because its caused by mosquito bites. We are also going to have a booth set up to bring awareness to kids on how to deal with and approach animals properly so that they can stay and remain safe. Also going to be able to let the community know about rules and regulations in the city and county so overall it will bring a lot of awareness and education to people as well as find our animals life long homes. We will have food set up that we will need help with passing out and cooking and goodie bags to give out we are going to have a huge bouncy house that has 4 different sections where people will need to watch the kids there will also be kid games to play people that will need to be greeted and signed in etc food will be provided to all workers for free as well as desserts and beverages.
