Opportunity Details

The eighth grade students at Frederick County Middle School will be graduating from our school on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. We need help with people who can come to the school at approximately 8:30 and set up for the reception that is held following the graduation ceremony. We will need help setting up tables, adding table clothes, decorations, and putting out food. Once that is done, we need some people to help monitor the amount of food that is placed out at a time to insure that people are not coming through the line and just taking excessive amounts - so putting out food as it is used up. We will also need help monitoring the drinks. Following the end of the reception at around 12:30, we will need assistance with clean up as well. If anyone would like to donate any baked goods they would be greatly appreciated as well. We are anticipating somewhere in the neighborhood of at least 500 students and family members or more to coordinate for.

Hailey's Wish is hosting a Sunday FunDay at the Christmas Tree Park Inclusive Playground in Manchester MD. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about the importance of inclusive playgrounds and to provide and inclusive community play event where children of all abilities can just have fun. All activities will be free of charge. Guests can pack a picnic or purchase food at the playground. (Rain Date June 30)

Join us at the 2019 Bike MS: Tour to Tanglewood where we ride to bring an end to MS forever! Each year, thousands of people across the country join the Bike MS volunteer team. We need volunteers for a variety of tasks: set-up and tear-down, registration, finish line cheering, rest stops, and more!
With every mile we ride, every hour we volunteer... we're that much closer. Together, we will end MS forever.

Opportunity Details

Food Pantry, we will unload a quantity amount of can goods, produce etc. Stock our shelfs and Refrigerators, we need as many hands as we can get. We are currently providing food to over 60 families in the DFW and our next goal is to serve 100 families.
