The Fedora Open is the major annual fundraiser for the Michael “Mickey” Soroka Charitable Foundation. It is held in the summer on the last Sunday in July, which is in advance of the major project requests that occur in the fall generated by the teachers and staff of the K-12 Campbell City Schools. Since the COVID pandemic, this has been our sole fundraiser for the entire year and it generates funds that provide educational assistance and contribute to academic programs which inspire and guide students of Campbell City Schools. In addition to funding four scholarships totaling over $5,000, we sponsor several educational and development activities for the students throughout the school year. The Soroka Foundation does not have any paid staff, so all net fundraising is used for the benefit of the students. We have an annual professional audit and are a Silver Level participant in the Candid program.

Event Overview:
We need your help to provide an epic evening of adult fun on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30-8pm with delicious food, cool drinks, fun contests, games, and even a chance to win $10,000 in cash (yep, you read that right!).
Our Oakland Beach Club House will be transformed with two mini-golf courses and tons of games and activities for folks to enjoy.
The $10,000 Par-tee will be held at our Oakland Beach Clubhouse! We will have:
• Two 9-hole mini golf courses in the gym
• Food and Drinks!
• Contests and hands-on activities
• The 19th hole – Think backyard party! Our Game Room will be unrecognizable with tents, patio lights, shrubs and greenery, food, and drinks (beer, wine, seltzer, and hopefully a signature cocktail)!
• History of our Clubs in main hallway
• Each room will have a fun activity for our guests AND a staff member will be there to explain the programming that occurs there
• And don’t forget, our $10k Raffle Drawing!!!! (only 300 tickets sold!)

And here's the best part: your donation will go towards helping local kids get the support they need to thrive! Think meals, mentors, and safe places to grow. This year 49% of our youth receive financial aid to attend. Your generosity allows more kids to enjoy a Club experience without a financial burden on struggling families.
