Please come join us for our annual fall carnival! This will be tons of fun with concessions, games and fun for the entire family! We will need volunteers for supervision of games, concessions and other sales. Please come out and help our kids have the time of their lives! We ask Kohl's employees to help us hold a house dedication for Kohl's New Milford employee who will moving into her family's new Habitat home in November. The dedication is 2 pm Sunday, Oct. 14 when members of the community and friends will attend this event. We are looking for volunteers who can plan, set up, participate, and clean up after this event held at the home.

We are looking for volunteers to help set up on November 10th, 2018 for our 6th annual fundraising gala for St. Mary's Services.

St. Mary's Services' vision of "Every Child Deserves a Good Home" began in 1887 and we continue this mission through our continued work. We continue to provide adoption services regardless of race, religion, background, or sexual orientation. We also have expanded to provide free counseling services to women in need, including postpartum depression/anxiety counseling, perinatal depression/anxiety counseling, grief & loss counseling, and adjustment to motherhood counseling.

St. Mary’s is accepting donations to our silent auction as well - whether it be a gift certificate, service, trip, or items such as wine, liquor, or sought after merchandise; as a non-profit agency that relies on grants, private donors, and fundraisers such as this event, everything is welcomed and appreciated.

We need volunteers to help with food booths at the Post Race Party. Our sponsors donate items such as Penn Station sandwiches, Richie's Chicken Fingers, JTM Barbecue and Chili. We need volunteers to work the food booths so that participants in the 5k can walk through the lines and get food easily. The volunteers help the lines to flow smoothly and keep the participants happy so they will return the following years to help keep our fundraiser growing.

Opportunity Details

Honolulu Pride is proud to present the screening of "Kumu Hina, the true meaning of Aloha" with panel discussion with none other than Kumu Hina herself afterwards! This event is free public programming, open to the public and will be taking place at The Arts at Marks Garage.

We are seeking ~ 5 volunteers to help with set up seating, assisting with refreshments, and clean up afterwards. The event is taking place on 17 October, and volunteers are requested to be in place by no later than 5:30 PM. The event will end and clean up finished by no later then 9:30 PM. Expectation is no more that 4 hours of volunteer commitment.

Hanford Christian School Parents Club will be hosting its 6th annual Harvest Benefit fundraiser at the Tos residence in Hanford, CA on October 20, 2018. The evening will consist of dinner, wine tasting, and live entertainment. A silent auction, live auction, and live dessert auction will help raise funds for continuing technology initiatives and further playground enhancements, potentially including shades for the play area, picnic tables, and a possible school garden. Parents Club is dedicated to assisting Hanford Christian School in its commitment to developing the whole child, body, mind and spirit. These efforts are made possible by the continued generosity from community members like yourself.

The Junior and Senior Classes would like to schedule a Khol’s A Team event: Powder Puff Football Game. Volunteers will be helping sell tickets and work in the concession stand. The purpose of the Powderpuff game is as major fundraiser for the Junior and Senior Classes as well as a school spirit building event for the entire West Shore community.

Join the Kohl's Kids Food & Fun Program in our fight against Childhood Obesity! Nutrition activities include testing your knowledge of eating habits and the benefits of fruits and vegetables. Yummy Bag (fresh fruits and vegetables) for eligible participants will be handed out while supplies last.
