Children First Center is a non-profit agency, offering a full array of comprehensive in-home services to children and their families in the counties of DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley in northeast Indiana. Children First has a long and successful history of providing services to children and their families. Those include children who have been abused, parents interested in improving their parenting skills, families with newborns, domestic violence victims and families in crisis. Participation in all programs is voluntary and most are provided at no cost to families. Children First is adamant in its belief that every child, regardless of limitations, deserves the opportunity to grow, to learn, and to achieve at the highest potential. Together we can help children become all they possibly can be! The event consists of fun events, silent auctions, live auctions, and special giving opportunities along with learning more about Children First Center and the services we provide as a few of our clients share their stories to the guests and why our programming is so essential to them. Our fundraisers are essential to continue to offer services at no cost, provide our staff with the best training and tools to do the best they can to build stronger communities in NE Indiana.
Acknowledgement of this donation will be done via social media, our webpage, our program brochure at the event and signage at the event. Our emcee will talk about each donor and items donated during the event as well.
Here at Children First Center, we are changing lives! In 2018, we served over 170 families in our Healthy Families program and 326 families in our HOME program alone. Annually we serve approximately 1800 clients, at no cost to them. Without the support of donors like you, we could not have achieved so much in the past year!

We meet at a cafe in paris, 5 days week in the morning. After we have a cafe together (and a chance to socialise) we head off individually or in small groups to distribute a surplus food – kindly donated by our partner Prêt a Manger – to homeless people and refugees on the streets of Paris or in the nearby refugee camps. All new volunteers are briefed before going out to distribute and are accompanied on their first day by an experienced volunteer.

You can take part in as many of these weekly sessions as you wish or, if your time is more limited, join us on an ad hoc basis.
