Living Water Christian School is a fast growing, non-profit school providing quality education to our community for students Kindergarten 3, 4 & 5 years old through 12th grade. For the past twenty years, our school has held an annual Walk-A-Thon Event. This is our only fundraiser for the school. We operate solely on tuition received, our Walk-A-Thon and donations from community businesses and leaders.

Each year students and families work diligently to obtain pledges and donations from family, friends and businesses. These pledges help LWCS offset operating cost, plan for future projects and maintain our campus grounds and facilities.

Walk-A-Thon Day is a fun day for everyone. We will spend time outside walking laps around an assigned area. Pizza, chips, cookies and drinks are provided for lunch. Volunteers are asked to help with set up, lunch distribution and clean up. They are also more than welcome to join us walking.

This is our major fundraiser for the year. This year's event has a Cuban/salsa theme to it. We need help with various tasks throughout the evening. This event has an attendance of around 400. All 8 of our service projects are funded by money we make at our fundraiser. Some of the things this fundraiser will help provide are 1,500 food bags through our Blessings program to kids who are at most risk of going hungry during extended school breaks; teach young girls internet safety, self-esteem and anti-bullying in our Empower program; work with area schools to help fill immediate needs that arise such as hygiene products, lice kits, clothing, shoes, supplies, etc. through our JA on Call program; provide a fun pancake breakfast with Santa for local families through our Breakfast with Santa program; provide a one year college scholarship to a Saline County senior who is going into a field working with children through our Scholarship program; collect gently used sports equipment, “refresh” the equipment & hand the equipment out to those in need at area sports try-outs through our Sports Swap Shop program.
