Norwin Play It Forward Fund is hosting its 9th annual Wind Up, Wine Down and Music on Tap benefit. This night is our single annual event to benefit student recipients of the fund. We are seeking local Kohl's volunteers who will each manage a single food station: Replenishing food item(s) and dishing out servings to guests. Easy work. We are trying a new venue this year: Vangura at the Kitchen by Vangura on Route 30 in North Huntingdon. In exchange, volunteers will receive free admission, food, and good music by the Good Guys! Please say yes. It's a fun night and the work is easy!

Celebrating Americas Military on Post at USO Fort Sam Houston.
We are looking for 40 volunteers to help us serve Americas military and families by helping us prep, set-up, execute, and clean-up for our event between the hours of 9am to 3pm. The tasks we will need help with are:
*Giving a tour our amazing center and fitness area.
*Serve food and drinks
*Oversee Kids Zone and Outdoor Games
*Custodial (Take out Trash, wipe down tables, etc.)

Our goal is to take some stress off of parents by providing pumpkin decorating, costume assistance, games and activities on the Sunday before Halloween. The coordinated permaculture systems at CIRENAS are a vibrant cornerstone of our commitment to living sustainably.

Lands formerly used as cattle pastures have been restored through permaculture design, emulating the cycles and patterns of nature to produce food on-site. As our plants grow and mature, CIRENAS on-site permaculture will harvest 75% of all food consumed by our guests and staff, with surplus redistributed to the local community.

The Viking Classic is on October 27, 2018. This is an all day marching band competition that Union Pines Band hosts as a fundraiser. This year we will have 25 bands competing and we need lots of volunteers to make the event a success. We need help in concessions, cook tent, funnel cakes, selling programs, holding "quiet" signs, and assisting with booths.
