Gold In September (G9) is the charity partner for several endurance running events in Wisconsin. At each race, we need volunteers to act as course marshalls (directing traffic) as well as helping at water/food stations along routes. The G9 Endurance Program is a meaningful way for people to show support, raise awareness and fundraise to help fight childhood cancer. By participating as a volunteer at these races, you will be part of a great community working together to end childhood cancer! No athletic ability required. Just a good heart and positive attitude!

The Einstein School is currently conducting Summer Camp with educational as well as fun activities for campers. The day will consist of remedial skills in math and reading while engaging in fun activities such as crafts, painting, and outside play time. We need volunteers to help children one-on-one with their reading and math skills. Volunteers can also assist with crafts, food preparation, and fun activities.

Opportunity Details

New Technology Made Simple Now (New Tech Now) is giving a presentation on 3D Printing, Scanning, and Virtual Reality at the Senior Recreation Center on July 5th from 9am-2pm in Gainesville, FL. This will be set up as a walk through informational fair exposing seniors to technology involving 3D printing and scanning, virtual reality, Tinkercad, and Cricut. New Tech Now is a new nonprofit in the Gainesville area and we are trying to get the word out we are here to help seniors, veterans, and youth with exposure to exciting technology. We are trying to gain awareness and interest in 3D printing with seniors so they can be an integral part as future volunteers, helping to teach youth 3D printing and scanning thereby preparing youth for a career path in this technology.
We need volunteers to help assist with 3D scanning (assist tech, no experience needed), help seniors login to Tinkercad, assist with monitoring Cricut machine, room management, and service of refreshments. Experience is not necessary but we need volunteers to help with people flow.

Opportunity Details

We are looking for volunteers to come help out at our biggest race weekend of the year. Families come from all over the state to race at our track for our State Qualifier Championship Race. This is also our biggest fundraising event of the year!
Tasks may include help with food prep, concessions, manning a table with items for sale, help with track specific duties like track official, staging and scoring etc.

Volunteers are the key to the success of the Walk to Defeat ALS. Without them, this event would not be possible. From set-up, helping at registration, distributing T-shirts, cheering on our walkers, serving food and drinks, coordinating the kids zone, to post-event breakdown, The ALS Association depends on people donating their time and talents in order to produce successful events that raise awareness and fund the mission.
