My name is Charity Coats and I am the volunteer coordinator for Serenity Hospice Care in Columbus Georgia. On August 8,2018 we will be having a community Health Fair event to for the residents of Manchester Georgia. We will have several stations set up for exercise, blood pressure checks, aerobics and we will be serving lunch. We would love to have your help if at all possible with serving and assisting the elderly. This will be an informative event about out Serenity Foundation as well as Serenity Hospice. We would appreciate your help.

Opportunity Details

Brat Fry at Immanuel-Trinity on April 20 & 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM. This Brat Fry is sponsored by Immauel-Trinity Youth Group and proceeds go towards their mission to serve others in their community here at home and community throughout the country. Youth Group participates in local food drives, Loaves & Fishes, and school needs. In addition, Youth Group participates in National Youth Gatherings and Mission Trips where youth are directly involved with mission outreach to people and communities in need; i.e. soup kitchens, construction, hurricane clean-up, literacy programs, etc.

Opportunity Details

CAP's Art Auction & After Party is Portland's premier art event benefiting Cascade AIDS Project. 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of Art Auction! Each year at this event, more than a thousand people come together to help CAP support and empower all people with or affected by HIV, reduce stigma, and provide the LGBTQ+ community with compassionate healthcare.

There are so many ways to get involved in this event, including becoming a volunteer Art Monitor, Dinner Host, Art Wrapper, Art Handler, and more! By supporting this event, you are helping to diminish the impact of HIV/AIDS on our community, and you are also joining one of the biggest, most spectacular fundraising galas in Portland.

Opportunity Details

This is our annual fundraiser fashion show. It helps us to raise the necessary funds to keep our house open and running. We are also able to run monthly workshops and community activities, provide some assistance to young women. Our goal is to empower them with the right tools to give them the hand-up they need to be successful.
