On August 2–3, 2025, My Good Brain, a nonprofit promoting youth mental wellness through art, will host an interactive booth at ArtWalk Liberty Station’s KidsWalk. This free community event brings together families from across San Diego to engage in creativity and hands-on learning.

🎯 Our goal: To offer fun, therapeutic “make-and-take” art activities for kids while sharing resources on emotional wellness and creative expression. Volunteers help create a warm and welcoming space that uplifts and educates.

🙌 Volunteer Responsibilities:

Set up and organize art materials and display tables
Assist children with guided art activities (no art experience required!)
Welcome families, explain the activity, and share My Good Brain’s mission
Help manage booth traffic and maintain a clean, inviting space
Support with take-down at the end of the day

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join our CRPS Awareness Project as Interviewers.
In this role, you will help to share the voices of individuals affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a rare and debilitating chronic pain condition.

Your interviews will play a vital part in raising awareness, educating the public, and fostering a supportive community for those impacted by CRPS.


Responsibilities:
Conduct interviews with individuals affected by CRPS (patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals) in a sensitive and respectful manner.
Record and/or document personal stories and experiences as part of a storytelling initiative to raise awareness.
Ensure confidentiality and empathy throughout the interview process.
Work closely with the Fight the Flame team to ensure the stories are shared effectively through our platforms (e.g., website, social media, newsletters).
