The Patricia Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to honor this remarkable woman by providing financial assistance to Deptford Township High School Seniors that plan to attend college that display the qualities that Patricia Miller is remembered for: Respectful, Driven, Model Student, and have a love of the Arts. Each year the DTHS guidance department recommends 5 students to our Board that meet the criteria. One or more of the students are chosen to receive a scholarship. Patti was also a Deptford Graduate, Class of 1972. She was a phenomenal woman that was loved and respected by all who knew her. She loved children and never missed an opportunity to get involved and make a difference in their lives. She was a room mother in the classroom, a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a Sunday School Teacher, a traveling grade school photographer, devoted wife, wonderful mother and loving grandmother. Patti was a leader, role model and always gave 110%. She loved music, dancing, photography, painting, being outside and relaxing at the beach. Patti was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease in her early to mid 50's and lost her battle on January 11, 2018. We want her loving and giving spirit to live on forever. This event will help us provide future scholarships and spread awareness of this awful disease.Available Shifts

by 3:00p.m., and the volunteer shift is from 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Volunteer duties include: Wine and Ice Distribution; Monitoring the VIP Lounge; handling disposable wine glasses/plates; runners; replenishing water stations; distributing water at the water station; VIP and Sponsor Check-in area; Vintner & Restaurant Check-In & Booth Support; Government Relations/Will Call; Distribution of Supplies; General Check-In; and helping at the Altamed Booth.

Function of the Ambassador
The Ambassador’s primary role is to serve as a liaison to the community, attending community events on behalf of Connected Warriors, to let everyone know about our Sea to Shining Sea Campaign this summer and to encourage everyone in the community to register, participate and enter the challenge.
Required Skills and Experience
• Ambassador must be passionate about our military Servicemembers, Veterans and their Families
• Ambassador must be passionate about yoga
• You must be personable, professional, and comfortable with public speaking.
• You must be able to connect with military and yoga audiences
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be organized, detailed and able to follow up with interested community members
• Must be able to collaborate remotely and attend team meetings
