We are a small group of volunteers who rescue abandoned and injured cats and care for them in our sanctuary. We are very good at what we do - taking in innocent kitties with chronic illnesses, physical deformities and emotional issues and providing them with a safe, warm, loving environment. We desperately need help with what we're less good at -- promoting the good work we do and raising funds to support the sanctuary. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy fundraising and promoting worthy causes. Will you help us?

The 2nd Annual Fall Festival at Frederick County Middle School (FCMS) is on Saturday, October 19 from 5:00-9:00pm. It is free and open to the public. It is first, and foremost, a community event that helps meet the goal of our principal to help make FCMS a partner in our community.

We are looking for volunteers for the event. There are opportunities for adults who don't want to dress up to assist with directing people with parking as well as the hay ride. If volunteers would like to wear costumes they are encouraged for anyone who assists with running carnival games, directing people to where the different activities are located, and we need some people to stand watch over the elevator to be sure it isn't accessed unless there is an emergency.

The event is free for everything other than if folks want to purchase food or to participate in the 50/50 raffle, the Cake Walk, or the Silent Artisan Auction. We will need volunteer assistance with the Cake Walk also. We are hoping to earn enough money from these items to assist us in keeping the event free while improving it in the future.
