The American Relief Coalition for Syria (ARCS) is looking for volunteers who can help develop our organization's pitch. The mission of ARCS is a voice for US-based Syrian diaspora organizations who are providing humanitarian and development services for Syrians worldwide, through advocacy and empowering local humanitarian actors. ARCS serves as an impetus for positive change, social welfare, and progress through serving as a platform for coordination and organizational development. Our vision is to empower Syrian voices, both in Syria and in the diaspora. We envision a world where Syrian voices are heard, and their dreams are empowered to become a reality.

ARCS is the voice of and provides support to Syrian-American humanitarian organizations, but does not directly provide services on the ground. This has made it challenging for us to locate potential sources of funding, as many foundations are looking to directly fund relief activities on the ground. We are looking for a volunteer to help us develop our messaging and our pitch as we begin speaking to potential donors and searching for funding.

This opportunity would need about 20-30 hours of total support over 2-6 months, depending on volunteer's availability.
