Volunteer Duties during O.C. Meets Napa Food and Wine Festival
Volunteers are needed to arrive at Mission in San Juan Capistrano, 26801 Ortega Hwy.,San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675
by 3:00p.m., and the volunteer shift is from 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Volunteer duties include: Wine and Ice Distribution; Monitoring the VIP Lounge; handling disposable wine glasses/plates; runners; replenishing water stations; distributing water at the water station; VIP and Sponsor Check-in area; Vintner & Restaurant Check-In & Booth Support; Government Relations/Will Call; Distribution of Supplies; General Check-In; and helping at the Altamed Booth.
The goal of the event is to provide funding for AltaMed's programs that provide quality healthcare to the underserved and uninsured in Southern California.

AltaMed has nine clinic locations in Orange County spread across Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Orange. This ensures that more than 88,845 adults and children in Orange County continue to receive high quality health care services from infancy through their senior years.

Opportunity Details

Juneteenth Atlanta is a 3-day black history music festival and parade. The Center will be a vendor at the celebration and will need assistance with engaging with park visitors for gaining UNITY!...Need brand ambassadors to assist at Mozely Park in Atlanta, GA for the Juneteenth Celebration. Function of the Ambassador
The Ambassador’s primary role is to serve as a liaison to the community, attending community events on behalf of Connected Warriors, to let everyone know about our Sea to Shining Sea Campaign this summer and to encourage everyone in the community to register, participate and enter the challenge.

Required Skills and Experience
• Ambassador must be passionate about our military Servicemembers, Veterans and their Families
• Ambassador must be passionate about yoga
• You must be personable, professional, and comfortable with public speaking.
• You must be able to connect with military and yoga audiences
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be organized, detailed and able to follow up with interested community members
• Must be able to collaborate remotely and attend team meetings

The event draws close to 700 attendees and we need nearly 40 volunteers total to make the event run smoothly. This is an uplifting, hope-filled, yet emotional event, so seeking 5-10 Kohl's volunteers to help with the event in 2018. Volunteer opportunities to choose from include working event set-up, attendee registration, event activity tables, route assistance, signage assistance, and more.
