Our project has the goal of advancing integration across fields of research and to build medicinal foods literacies in the population. We are seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented office coordinator to join our organization. You will coordinate various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly at all times. Tasks include, but are not limited to, front desk management, answering phones, maintaining office supplies, and scheduling meetings and appointments.
Office Coordinator Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome clients and visitors to the virtual group and assist them as needed
Perform various clerical tasks as needed (file papers, organize supplies, etc.)
Take virtual meeting notes and transcribe into email, document or spreadsheet form
Prepare and send faxes
Answer phones and route calls to appropriate persons
Take and deliver phone messages
Manage, sort, and dispense incoming mail and faxes
Prepare outgoing mail, faxes and packages

On Wednesday 16th February, you are invited to join BIG Alliance at Pitch For Success: BoardMatch17 Edition.The workshop will bring together volunteers from Checkout.com and a selection of local charities that will be attending BIG Alliance's BoardMatch17 event. BoardMatch17 is
a trustee-matching event that will be held on Wednesday 23rd February via video conference. During BoardMatch17, the charities in attendance will be required to deliver a 1-minute pitch with the aim of attracting candidates to apply to join their board of trustees. This Pitch For Success workshop will support them to develop, practice and ultimately perfect their pitch, helping the community organisations to generate interest from prospective trustees. During the workshop, the community organisations will work will you to develop their pitch and will then have the chance to rehearse it several times, receiving feedback from you on each occasion.

Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina (FCP) is actively seeking dynamic leaders to serve on our board.For more than 120 years, FCP has been serving one of the most vulnerable populations in South Carolina: pregnant/parenting girls and at-risk young women. Last year, we provided safe housing, educational services, career development opportunities, and life skills training to more than 100 young women and their children. The next several years promise to be exciting ones as we expand programming to meet the changing needs of our clients. The Board of Directors will play a central role in this important work.
