Our 2018 Pride Fort Lauderdale festival is expected to attract over 60,000 from all over the world and we need help from the community to make important event happen. This year Pride will be on Valentine's Weekend on Sunday February 11, 2018 and our theme will be The Love Pride.We are looking for volunteers who can help with everything from greeters to logistics and people to set up and breakdown the day before and after the event.

The Communication officer(meta volunteer) will set and guide the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and counteract to consistently articulate ASI's mission.He/she will work closely with a senior peer group within the organization to effectively implement ASI’s communication objectives.
Key Responsibilities-
Together with the support of her/his team & input from the management team, develop,
implement, and evaluate the quarterly communications plan for ASI
Develop, mentor and lead a team of volunteers responsible for ASI’s communication efforts
Coordinate webpage maintenance—ensure that new and consistent information (article links,
stories, videos, campaigns, and events) is posted regularly
Track and measure the level of engagement within the network over time.
Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable
action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate.

implementing new initiatives.

The Head of Social Media & Content would lead the development and execution of the content and social media strategy for the ASI brand, forming both core and campaign content for our programs.In this role you will be collaborating with ASI executive team to inform content strategy, content
creation and successful content integration across all touch points.The desired candidate needs to be a super communicator, with deep knowledge of current and upcoming social media platforms and proven experience building and managing content calendars, large-scale communities, paid media budgets, and
partnering when appropriate.
The volunteer would work closely with several key volunteer groups including Digital, Marketing,
Public Relations to ensure that all forms of content, both low and high fidelity content aligns with brand
strategy. It requires a strong understanding of the digital and social media landscape as a key place for
brand storytelling to enhance the audience experience and drive conversation around our programs or
fundraising campaigns.
Strong desire to inspire creativity, innovate thinking, strong marketing concepts and solutions
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and social media ad platforms
Strong writing and editing skills
Strong analytical skills
Key Responsibilities-
Contribute to the development of the overarching brand content and social media strategy.
Collaborate with HR to find social media volunteers to manage the execution of the social
strategy across all touch points and platforms.
Develop and effectively integrate content to the online brand experience to support brand
storytelling and fundraising content.
Identify social tools to assess for efficiency of tool and latest reporting technology.

They work with clients on-on-one and guide them to achieve Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic and Timely (SMART) goals. They offer a wide range of expertise and knowledge that benefits the client and helps them to be successful entrepreneurs.Required Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated strength or professional expertise in e.g. personal finance, accounting, marketing, IT or general entrepreneurial experience etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexibility.
Patience and good listening skills.
Expected Commitment:
Coaching partnerships range from 3 to 6 months depending on client needs. Small Business Coaches/Mentors are expected to meet or consult with clients on an agreed upon schedule and provide feedback to ACCESS.

The role of the Loan Officer is to review, interview and evaluate potential loan applicants and make a recommendation to the Loan Review Committee for a decision. Loan Officers make up the Loan Review Committee and meet to make decisions on loan applications for both our small business and professional development loans.Required Skills & Experience:
Entrepreneurial experience or knowledge of start-ups, private businesses or experience with education, career development.
Professional experience in financial analysis, management, law or marketing etc.
Community involvement or experience working with marginalized or low-income communities.
Understanding of business plans and cash flows.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Passion to help others.
Second language an asset.
Expected Commitment:
The Loan Review Committee at meets at least once a month. Members are expected to review applications, conduct applicant interviews and meet as a committee to make decisions on loan applications.
