We’re looking for UX / UI Marketing Designer to join our growing team!
What you’ll do:
- Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, digital ads, and other marketing materials
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously improve design output
- Ensure consistency of brand and design language across all marketing touchpoints
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to marketing campaigns and initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a UX/UI Designer, UX/UI Marketing Designer, or similar role
- Experience working in agile environments, iterating on designs based on feedback and changing requirements
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for designing SEO-friendly web pages
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining design systems for consistency across products
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
- Possession of excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong visual design skills with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Figma, etc.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design work

What you’ll do:
- Develop a cohesive and effective content strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and target audience
- Create and curate high-quality and engaging content for social media platforms including designing graphics, writing captions and posts, editing videos, and more
- Engaging with the audience in a genuine and meaningful way to build relationships and foster positive interactions
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, which could include product launches, contests, promotions, or collaborations with influencers
- Stay updated on the features and best practices of different social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tailoring content accordingly to fit each platform's unique characteristics
- Use analytics tools provided by social media platforms (or third-party tools) to track the performance of posts and campaigns.
What we’re looking for:
- 1+ years of experience leading social media content strategy, demonstrating successful management of social media platforms and campaigns
- Experience in analyzing social media metrics and insights to inform strategy and measure the performance of campaigns
- Ability to develop and implement social media strategies to achieve organizational goals, such as increasing brand awareness, engagement, or driving traffic to websites
- Proficiency in creating engaging and creative content for social media, including text, image, and video content
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective audiences

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our growing team!
What you’ll do:
- Work with a global, remote team of creators, engineers, and educator
- Lead UX design projects from concept through execution, including ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate as needed
- Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience sitting at the intersection between UX, strategy and design
- Experience working in agile environments, iterating on designs based on feedback and changing requirements
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements
- Knowledge of user personas, customer journey mapping and applying behavioral science to make both of these more evidence-based
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining design systems for consistency across products

- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive media outreach and response
- Pitch story ideas and secure media placements in online and social media outlets
- Write and edit press releases, media advisories, articles, and other PR materials
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals and promotional efforts

What we’re looking for:

- Produce high-quality written content for our website
- Ensure content consistency in terms of style and quality and optimized for search and user experience

Literacy Lambton has an existing multi-platform presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google MyBusiness.We are a small registered charity that has served Sarnia-Lambton for over three decades, yet awareness remains a challenge. We have a skeleton team and our impact relies heavily on volunteer engagement. All of our mission-related programs are based on community goodwill via private donations, service club and other grants, and our own fundraising efforts. For these reasons, attracting new donors and donor engagement/appreciation is another key function of the Social Media Coordinator role.
This role would first work with the Executive Director to co-develop an annual digital marketing plan building it out to weekly content calendars. This volunteer would then work with CanvaPro and the organization's brand kit to design and schedule weekly social posts for each platform and then engage with online communities.

- Cultivate and maintain a positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the media, customers, employees, investors, government agencies, and the general public
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a Public Relations Associate or similar role, preferably in a related industry
- Experience with digital PR strategy, including social media management and online reputation management
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt style for different audiences
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of media relations practices, including media list development, outreach strategies, and media monitoring
