Large colorful advertising is needed to draw an audience to our fundraising event at school. The auditorium holds 290 people and we'd like every seat filled. Posters and banners that catch the eye are impossible to miss around campus! They are essential to a successful performance evening for our students.

Fun art project and you don't need to be artistic! During the week of February 12th, we need several posters and banners made (materials provided) to advertise the upcoming school Variety Show around campus. Any block of time at Kohls to complete this task before Monday Feb 19th is okay with us!

Saturday, June 16th-Military Daddy Daughter Dance near the Las Vegas Strip 6-9pm. This event is being held on Father's Day weekend where 2,000 Military Dads dressed in their military uniforms and their daughters dressed in their princess dresses will dance the night away. Being a military family where most dads are deployed multiple times in a daughters life this special night is just to build that Father/Daughter relationship. Volunteers will help with registration, help with craft stations, help with games, gift giveaways etc.

To raise funds to support our Dream Riders events. Dream Riders events are for children that have lost a father, mother, brother or sister in the military. These children are emotionally injured and also deserve our help. Through our "Dream Riders" events it is Fallen Hero's Dream Ride's mission to bring these families together for healing and fellowship in a fun environment. "Because they deserve happy memories"

Habitat for Humanity Wood Buffalo relies on the support of our volunteer committees to carry out our programs. We have a number of committees currently accepting members:

* Family Selection & Nurture- review and recommend partner families for our affordable Home Ownership Program, support partner families through the build process and the transition period into their new home, etc.

*Restore Start-Up Committee- we are currently looking into the feasibility of bringing a Restore to Fort McMurray. We are seeking committee members to work through the feasibility study, the business plan, location search and to oversee initial start-up (in whatever format it may take)

*Events Committee- planning has been completed for the 2019 Playhouse Build-Off and Auction! Committee members will help with the planning and organizing of this and other smaller events through the year.

*Construction Committee- involved in the planning and organizing of Habitat construction activities.

*Public Relations-Develop materials, communications & messaging to create awareness around our activities, events and successes.

*Fund Development-Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and current donors.
