We have been asked to present on our Ready to Learn project at a major funder event in London. As a small charity, this is an important opportunity for us.
We are looking for a graphic designer to design two great posters and a vertical vinyl banner.
We are also looking for a video producer to make a two minute video showing the impact of our Ready to Learn project in Myanmar.

We have lots of great photos, video clips and even music from the project in Chin State for a sound track.

Ready to Learn has set up two learning hubs in refugee-hosting communities in Myanmar, a country in turmoil since the military coup of February 2021. The first learning hub is in the Chin Hill, a school providing a free education to children of all faiths and ethnicities, including many whose families have fled the conflict. The second is in Putao, Kachin State, a new vocational learning centre in the foothills of the Himalayas. Putao is situated in a biodiversity hotspot near a small but important population of wild tigers. This new centre has a focus on ecology, wildlife conservation and community natural resource management.

Your Tasks

- Design two posters and a banner showing the impact of a educational project in Myanmar (photos and text suggestions provided)
- Produce a two min video about the project. Again, photos, text, video clips and music provided.

What's needed

- graphic design skills;
- video production skills

Availability
The event is in October and we would like to get the posters, banner and videos finished by the end of Sept. Otherwise, we are flexible and can adapt to your schedule. We are looking for of two volunteers, one to design the posters and banner and one to produce the video but if you can do both, that would be wonderful!
The work can be carried out remotely.

We are a growing nonprofit and have need for various skills:
-Grant writer and fundraising volunteers
-Marketing volunteers to help with promotional materials (brochures, etc), getting articles published with media orgs, getting live/recorded interview with media orgs
-Copywriters / Editors to create articles about KPM for media publication; also possibly blog postings
-Web Developers to help maintain KPM's WordPress-based website at: kolbeprisonministries.org

We could always use more volunteers for participating as retreat team members inside the prisons. While this may not be for everyone, those persons who at first reluctantly volunteered to be on prison retreat teams found the ministry to be life changing and extremely rewarding and nearly all become repeat retreat team volunteers.
