This annual event will take place at Lake Los Carneros this year on Sunday, September 21, 2025. With competitive 5K (Jr. Grand Prix) and 10K (Grand Prix) races, and our popular 1K Family Fun Run, we’ve got something for everyone. Come join the Goleta Education Foundation and support our schools, families, and community in the Goodland. Proceeds from the Lemon Run go directly to support the Goleta Education Foundation. Your participation and support impacts students and educators in the Goodland.

About the U.S. Open Netball Championships® - It is our pleasure to welcome you to the largest and most prestigious Netball event in the USA, the U.S. Open Netball Championships®. Since 2009, ladies and co-ed Netball teams from around the world compete for the titles of U.S. Open Netball Champion! Netball is a grass-roots sport in the USA, so we have various levels of ability, from highly competitive to social teams. The event aims to develop American athletes, coaches, and umpires.

Remote and in person volunteer opportunities exist. We have a national team of volunteers on the organizing committee to help with project management, sponsorship, creating videos and content for our socials and global broadcast, merchandise, volunteers, hotel and partner coordination. In person during the event we need assistance with meet and greets at the airport, coordinating the run sheets, assisting with the broadcast, photography, videography, volunteer coordination, venue setup and tear down etc.

Create multilingual cue cards and flashcards tailored for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients to aid in memory retention and daily living activities. These tools will be designed with cultural sensitivity and usability in mind.

Description: Help shape our charities’ marketing efforts by providing valuable input on content selection. Volunteers will be asked to review and vote on various charity materials, such as campaign slogans, visuals, and storytelling narratives. This crowd-sourcing initiative ensures that our marketing resonates effectively with donors and stakeholders, amplifying the impact of our outreach efforts.

Participants: This project can be done by an individual or a self-facilitated group. Global Impact will provide the necessary materials for review and input.

Location: On Teams.

Duration: This project is flexible and can be completed as quickly as 5 minutes if desired. The volunteer chooses how many materials they would like to review.

Geographic Reach: Global Impact and our Charity Alliance of 75+ organizations address critical causes around the world. All marketing materials will cover the global reach of our organizations and cover a range of causes, including clean water, education, hunger, refugees, ending poverty, and more.
