More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.

Opportunity Details

EDV is an England and Wales registered charity which helps disaster-affected and at-risk communities worldwide find sustainable solutions to the problems they face. Our origins are European but our approach is global - we welcome volunteers and donros regardless of nationality!

As a small, relatively new charity, we can't employ a full time designer. This means that our mail outs have been very "samey samey" and are not engaging for our users. We want to take a fresh look at our email design and see if we can create more engaging, user friendly formats!

This work will compliment further exciting developments for our charity. This summer, we'll relauch our website and change our name. In line with these changes, we'd love to revamp the look of our email communications. If you could help us design some new, engaging layouts - maybe even a "give now" button! - you'd be making a world of difference for our growing charity.

Sustainable Innovations is looking for a marketing, advertising, and creative individual to craft our message, design brochures, and embellish our web site.

Develop our strategy for social media.

We have won several awards for innovations, sustainability, and social enterprises. These awards include 2012 Purpose Prize for social innovations, 2010 Lemelson-Massachusetts Institute of technology award for sustainability, and World bank awards for social enterprises. Now, we are scaling up our programs to reach 200,000 people.
