It’s not us, really, but the family has decided to move to warmer weather. We will miss her terribly as she has been instrumental in every aspect of our work. A volunteer with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who will be responsible for raising funds for Legacy Family Center, a nonprofit institution. This person will work with members of the Resource Council to plan and coordinate all aspects of fund development

Provide leadership on all fundraising initiatives including special events, capital campaign, major gifts, sponsorships, donor cultivation and grant writing
Secure gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding assigned prospects
Manage the successful implementation of a Capital Campaign Plan with a focus on new opportunities to obtain ongoing and increased support from corporations, public and private organizations, faith communities, and individuals
Provide necessary training and coaching to volunteers
Maintain a detailed database for sustainability and transition

Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has mobilized over 2,000 schools, libraries, and youth groups, engaged over 500,000 volunteers, and given over 197,000 trees to children in all 50 states (plus Canada and Mexico).

Our dream is to reach every child in North America and eventually the world.
