Volunteers can assist with judging, registration, crowd control, food services, awards, and much more. We’ve made it simple – you can sign up on-line to be a volunteer and only commit to hours that work for you. We appreciate any time you would like to devote and we would like to invite you visit the STEM Fair as well as the College & Career Expo. Students can volunteer at the Fair to fulfill community service requirements for many area middle and high schools, too!

Sherbourne Health provides essential primary care and chronic disease management, mental health services, health education, and outreach and social supports to improve health for communities who face social, economic and other systemic barriers, whose complex needs are not met by traditional health care. Every year, we organize a variety of fundraising events to raise support for our programming. As a Fundraising Events Support volunteer, roles may include event set-up and tear down, guest check-in, processing donations, supporting event catering, and general events duties. We invite you to join us as we raise awareness of family development work by highlighting the achievements of our 30 Family Resource Centers and the Association. Coal River Mountain Watch began as a group of volunteers, and we have always relied on volunteers and interns to help our small staff do our important work. Volunteers may plant, tend, and harvest our hemp farm, pick up trash and junk from our streams and hollows with out Tadpole Project, monitor mine sites for regulatory violations, help with community events and workshops, help with disaster assistance, share social media content, or other activities. On-site volunteers will live in our volunteer/intern apartments in the solar-powered Judy Bonds Center for Appalachian Preservation.
