Help grandparents raising grandchildren with special needs and children who have experienced homelessness by volunteering at Innovative Solutions for Disadvantage & Disability's Chip in for Kids Charity Golf Tournament. Funds raised support programs like Project GRANDD (Grandparents Raising And Nurturing Dependents with Disabilities) which provides assistance to low income seniors raising second families and Healthcare Without Walls, providing healthcare to children and child health literacy training to mothers.Duties: Assist with set-up and/or tear-down, registration, auction, raffle, contests and check-out.

On April 28, James House will assist our community partners hosting beverage sales, a 50/50 raffle, and a game and information table. This event is a prelude to our fall event that is the biggest fundraiser of the year that benefits survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and stalking in the Greater Tri-Cities Region. We need volunteer help to make this event a success. We are hoping to build excitement about our fall event and successfully raise funds working in the community while educating people about our mission. James House seeks volunteers to assist with seasonal fundraising opportunities. We have a development committee that volunteers can serve on. We also have events throughout the year where we can use assistance with projects or long term basis.Volunteers could be used to manage a fundraiser, contact community partners, help with mailings, assist with design work, develop social media posts, work events helping with ticket sales, item distribution, and volunteer support to staff.
James House provides support, advocacy, and education for people in the Greater Tri-Cities Region affected by sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking to empower them to become healthy, safe, and self-sufficient. This event will help the st jerome guild purchase bassinets for the maturnity unit at UMMC our local hospital. We are the hospital volunteer organization . Our hospital merged and we joined the hospital group 10 years ago. St. Jerome Guild has just celebrated its 100 th year of volunteering for the hospitals in Batavia, NY. The two hospitals that merged were st jerome’s and gene see memorial. Into United memorial medical center. Which has joined forces with Rochester regional health care! We have a membership of 100 volunteer. Many are over 60 and could use help with our event, we need help with getting models dressed, organizing the clothing, making sure clothing gets back to correct store, helping with the correct line up, decorating the hall and tables.Available Shifts
