The main goal of a Veganuary Workplace Champion is to motivate colleagues to join our 31-day challenge and try vegan in January. By sharing Veganuary’s resources and highlighting the benefits of taking part, your enthusiasm can really inspire others!
Here are some other fun ideas you could try:
• Set Up Fun Office Games and Activities: Get employees involved with activities like a word search or quiz. You could host an activity lunch or an online event to bring everyone together.
• Host a "Lunch & Learn" Event: Organize a film screening, a vegan-themed TED Talk, or invite a guest speaker to motivate your team. Explore thought-provoking documentaries and other resources in our toolkit.

We are seeking passionate, driven individuals to join our team as volunteer fundraisers to help support and grow the 703 Warriors' mission. This position will focus on generating funds to sustain our free soccer and youth development programs, helping us make a lasting impact in the community.Responsibilities:
Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives (online and in-person).
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
Help create and distribute materials to promote fundraising efforts (social media, newsletters, flyers, etc.).

Fundraising CommitteeRoles and Responsibilities
ROLES:
The Fundraising Committee supports the organization’s mission by providing input, guidance, and active participation in financial development initiatives. The committee is responsible for ensuring the organization raises adequate funds to sustain its service delivery programs and meet its financial obligations to vendors, corporate partners, and the community. These efforts include, but are not limited to:
• Individual giving campaigns
• Special events
• Direct mail and marketing efforts
• In-kind donations
A Grants Sub-Committee focuses specifically on securing and managing grants, including application and reporting processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with the Executive Director and board members to execute the organization’s fundraising plan.
2. Facilitate networking opportunities to connect the organization with potential donors and community supporters.
3. Actively participate in the planning, solicitation, and execution of annual fundraising initiatives.
4. Assist in donor stewardship by executing plans to recognize and thank donors.
5. Periodically evaluate fundraising outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement to the Board of Directors.
COMMITMENTS:
1. Attend at least 80% of Fundraising Committee meetings.
2. Make monthly thank-you calls to donors.
3. Collaborate with staff partners to develop and implement solicitation action plans.
4. Dedicate approximately 2–4 hours per month, including participation in committee meetings and related activities.

- **Video Content:** Help produce short videos or interviews with patients, staff, or volunteers, showcasing the impact of Fortis Therapy Center’s work. These videos could be used on social media platforms, YouTube, or the website.
- **Website Content:** Assist with updating and improving website content, including writing program descriptions, adding patient testimonials, or creating resource pages that provide useful information for prospective patients and families.
- **Graphic Design:** Create visual assets, such as flyers, banners, and infographics, that can be used in emails, social media posts, or print materials for fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
Helpful Skills but not required:
- Experience in graphic design, video editing, and content writing.
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and content management systems.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and informative content.

ELAP is seeking applicants to serve on our board of directors. We are a financially stable 501(c)(3) in our 35th year of operation. The ELAP Board works to provide strategic governance for the organization. Service Specifics
Board members commit to the following terms:
* Volunteer for a 3-year term with the possibility of renewal.
* Regularly attend board meetings which happen up to 8 times a year (via Zoom with 2 - 3 in- person meetings each calendar year)
* Serve on and/or chair at least one committee (ex. Governance, Development, Board Recruitment, Attorney Volunteer, Finance).
* Spend an average of 6 to 10 hours a month doing board work: attending regular meetings, participating in committee work, and being an ambassador in the community.
* Assist with fundraising, including sponsorships, ticket sales to annual Breakfast for Justice Fundraiser, and serving as table Captain at Breakfast for Justice (filling at least one table with guests.
* Make a personally meaningful annual donation. Please note that ELAP Board members do not have a minimum "give get" financial responsibility.

Each Board member serves as a table captain (filling at least one table with guests), assists with recruiting sponsors, solicits donations to ELAP through a personal fundraising page and related efforts. In addition, Board members actively support fundraising initiatives by making personal contributions, leveraging their networks, and attending fundraising and donor cultivation events.
4. Committee Involvement: Committees handle specific tasks such as finance, governance, Board recruitment, or program development. To enhance the Board’s overall effectiveness, Board members participate actively in their committees' work. Board members must attend committee meetings consistently, actively engage in discussions, and contribute to decision-making.
5. Leveraging Personal and Professional Networks: Board members use their connections to benefit the organization. Whether it is introducing potential donors, collaborating with other organizations, or securing resources, their networks play a vital role.
6. Conduct: Board members act with honesty and integrity and always act for the good of the organization and the people it serves. They keep confidential information confidential. They work with and respect the opinions of staff members and those who serve on the Board and leave personal prejudices out of all board discussions.
